Motivate women to start their Real Estate business

I was very good at studies, but due to circumstances, I could not study beyond SSC. In 1989, I started business of photocopying in a small shop of just 30 sq. ft. at Thane Court Naka with one xerox Machine. Over years, I expanded my business to property documentation, Real Estate consultancy and today, I lead a group of investors in real estate. In real estate development, have constructed an office Building at Navi Mumbai for own IT Services Business.

I expanded my business; and would like to share with Thane’s women: what Is the potential in this business of real estate – and, why WOMEN should enter this business.

My Catchphrase: “You earn a good name, and your good name will earn money”. It is with this principal that I have always done my business.

Key points for women entering business in any aspect of real estate:

• Home buying/ renting: Women are the key decision makers in terms of the choice of home to buy/ rent. As a woman, one should understand the key needs of the woman of the house of the family that is out to buy/ rent a home and provide the best service with knowledge and integrity.


• Do not deal in real estate offerings by low quality developers; work only with RERA registered developers having good reputation and a track record of delivering quality real estate.


• Do not hesitate to work with young customers who may be currently looking to stay on rent - if they receive good service from you then once they grow in life and they want to buy their own first home, they will come knocking at your door


• Make good use of technology and learn and adapt to latest technology and social media marketing techniques.

The Thane /Mumbai /Navi Mumbai region offers tremendous growth options, and the business potential of real estate services is huge.

I urge the new generation women to start their own Real Estate business with full energy and trust me, you will be very happy as an entrepreneur.
