MCHI-CREDAI Thane has taken a visionary leap by stepping into the role of educator, mentor, and coach for the city’s real estate community. In an era where redevelopment is emerging as the most viable and sustainable solution for ageing buildings, this initiative could not have come at a better time.
With the goal of creating real estate literacy among homeowners and potential homebuyers, MCHI-CREDAI Thane aims to make the entire redevelopment process more transparent, accessible, and trustworthy. To further this mission, the organisation is hosting a Redevelopment Expo on 8th and 9th November at the Raymond Trade Centre, Thane. The event will bring together all key stakeholders — including developers, architects, legal experts, financial advisors, and project management consultants — under one roof to guide and educate homeowners about the redevelopment journey.
Over the years, many redevelopment projects have faced hurdles due to lack of awareness and misinformation, leaving several societies in limbo. Such experiences have created hesitation among homeowners, despite redevelopment being the need of the hour. This expo seeks to bridge that gap by offering clear, expert-driven insights and helping citizens make informed decisions.
Structured much like a career fair, the expo will allow visitors to explore multiple facets and pathways of the redevelopment process — from initial planning to final handover. It promises to be a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration
