Thane residential real estate saw R robust growth

Thane's housing market has witnessed significant growth in 2025, with approximately 56,000 housing units sold in the district, reflecting strong and sustained demand. Thane City has achieved its highest-ever sales value of around ₹15,400 crore, contributing over 40% to the district's total value.

The average value of an apartment in Thane City has reached ₹1.22 crore, marking a 36% growth since 2021. The premium segment continues to gain momentum, with homes priced above ₹2 crore witnessing over 3x growth in value since 2021.

These statistics are part of the Thane Housing Report – January 2026, which was presented by CRE Matrix and CREDAI MCHI Thane.

The report highlights the growing demand for housing in Thane, driven by enhanced infrastructure growth, improved connectivity and growth of premium properties in Thane.
